Join us on Saturday, February 24, 2024, for a transformative day-long retreat under the Snow Moon - the first Full Moon of the lunar year, rising at 6:47 PM. This unique experience is designed to align your spirit with the lunar rhythm, embracing the serenity and power of the moonlit night.

Our journey begins with restorative asana, setting the tone for a day of tranquility and inner peace. Delve into the depths of relaxation with Yoga Nidra, accompanied by guided meditation, to connect deeply with your inner self. As the moon ascends, partake in mindful Moon Salutations, a flowing sequence that honors the lunar energy.

The day is not just about quietude but also about expression and community. Join us in chanting and drumming sessions that resonate with the lunar vibrations, creating a symphony of sounds under the open sky. Dive into the mysteries of the Moon with engaging discussions on Moon wisdom and lore, exploring her influence in various cultures and traditions.

Nourish your body with a communal vegan chili, crafted together as we share stories and laughter. Our collective creativity will come alive in a community art project, symbolizing our connection with each other and the cosmos.

As twilight deepens, we will engage in a special ritual to honor the Moon in her luminous glory. This ceremony is a time to reflect, release, and set intentions, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the warmth of community.

This retreat is more than an event; it's a celebration of darkness, stillness, compassion, and creativity. It's an invitation to physically participate in the cosmic dance and embrace the ever-changing yet constant rhythm of the Moon.

Supplies Needed:

  • Your shining self

  • Yoga mat

  • water bottle

  • If you are participating in-person, we will be creating a community pot of chili. Please bring the following 3 VEGAN items:

    • 1 large can tomato product,

    • 1 can beans, and

    • EITHER one can vegetable OR one packet chili seasoning.

  • If you are participating online you will also need:

    • Computer/tablet/phone

    • Reliable internet connection

    • Zoom (if you are participating online live)

    • Youtube (if you are participating on demand)

    • Any yoga supplies props that makes a practice accessible and enjoyable for you.

    • You may want to make a pot of chili or other nourishing meal to enjoy because the in-person participants will be co-creating a pot of chili together during the retreat.

 

Registration and Cancellation policy:

  • Prepayment is required for registration

  • Registration is non-refundable, and does not carry forward if you are unable to attend. If you are feeling ill or need to cancel for any reason, you may participate online live or on demand at a later date.
